The concept of the Minerva is to provide a vessel tender that not only looks like an inflatable but can outperform it in more ways than one. And this is not just a tender to carry the family to the beach though it does that quickly and safely. This tender can do solid service in commercial environments as well, aquaculture, water management, authority inspection work and any number of day to day tasks where a solid reliable and fast economical craft is required to move people equipment and supplies. No big air tubes A tough durable skin over the side members to help absorb knocks and nudges Easy lifting and storage Good upfront storage Formed bows and hull to minimise wave splash and to give fast progress through the water Solid double skinned hull with floor The large anchor locker allows for an emergency kit and cover to be stored safely. Functional built in carry handles and a broad transom. Carry a small reserve The oars and required gear are stored out of the way in the cavities once required for an air filled pontoon.
