Destiny is a Sierra 46 launched in February 2004. She is a larger version of the Sierra 40 'Sierra', both designed by Bob Salthouse. Her Sydney owner chose a pair of Volvo 480hp fully electronic engines for a top speed of 27 knots. She features accommodation for 7 in air conditioned luxury. An hydraulically lowered swim platform can carry dinghy, PWC or the like. She is fitted out in American Cherry and creme suede throughout. The electronics package is PC based displaying all functions including the vessels entertainment, games and music on 3 screens in the owners cabin, saloon and bridge. An enclosed spiral staircase leads to the fully enclosed air conditioned bridge containing wrap around seating for up to 10 people. » Click here to view Pacific Motoryacht boat test (PDF, 1.03Mb)
