Mitchells Marine was formed from the take over of assets of Bartlett Marine. Same staff, same precision equipment and facilities but with a focus on better and more cost effective ways to handle projects. We offer purpose built mezzanine bays in our shed through to Computer aided Design software for early visualization and confirmation of work in hand. We strive to make technology work for you. Combine that with the traditional values and practices of Mitchells Joinery and you have a combination that is hard to beat. Directors Peter Whiteley and John Williams are very interested in the development of new ideas and market trends. They are exploring the trend towards the more traditional designs such as deckhouse schooners and the concept of the power skiff hull which has tremendous application in terms of speed and fuel economy. This design was well known in the last century for rum running on the North East seaboard of the US. We believe you can always take a tried traditional design and make it better with modern thinking. The Mitchells 39 Skiff is a fine example of this and is setting new standards in economy and fast comfort.
